Description
Published by The High School Free Press, The Glass Onion functioned as a monthly organ targeting young members of the counterculture movement and affiliates with New Left politics. Both a political and social critique of post-1968 America as well as a cultural review, this issue of The Glass Onion covers the 1969 Altamount Festival where Meredith Hunter was murdered by a member of the Hells Angels during a performance by the Rolling Stones, the Vietnam War, and politics in secondary educational systems.
