Description
This anti-V.O.C. campaign button aimed to address the lax regulations maintained by businesses manufacturing products such as glues, cosmetics, cleaning products, and paints. Lax regulations on disposing of material waste as well as worker exposure to chemicals remained a top concern in the late-1960s and 1970s for groups such as the National Environmental Health Association and Consumer Product Safety Commission.
